I figured that I should probably clear up and update the progress of the Club looking for new Board Members.
Voting will take place via Email / Facebook (due September 3rd) and in-person at our Monthly meeting September 4th at Spiro's Pizza.
This election is for the clubs' board members for the 2024/2025 season. This is not regarding the Vintage meet show committee, yet the board will be part of the Show committee.
Should you wish to be part of the board please contact us ASAP so we can put your name on the ballot.
The following are the positions that are open and the people that have shown interest.
1. The President shall: (David Saltkill)
· Preside over all meetings of the Board.
· Preside in turn with the Vice-President at the general Club meetings.
· Appoint Chairpersons of all Standing Committees and Special Committees.
· Exercise supervision over all affairs of the Club.
· Serve as an ex-officio member to all committees except the Nominating Committee.
· Determine the need for Special Committees with the approval of the Board.
2. The Vice-President shall:
· Perform the duties of the President in his/her absence or upon his/her request, serve as an aide to the President, and perform such other duties as may be requested.
· The Vice-President shall serve on the Budget and Finance Committee.
3. The Recording Secretary shall:
· Keep record of the minutes of all meetings and provide copies to the Board members.
· Provide copies of full minutes for board and general meetings in a timely manner.
· Perform such other duties as may pertain to this office or which may be assigned by the President
4. The Officers At Large shall: (Alan Peck , Jeff Bryner )
· Be responsible for the counting of votes.
· Perform such other duties as may be requested and approved by the Board.

We do fun things such as, camping, host events like the monthly Spiro's V-Dubs Pizza & Pints meet, V-Dubs & Coffee and the longest running Vintage VW show in the NW (41st in 2024) that is 100% run by volunteers & members.

Membership
It's easy to become a club member - just show up at the meetings and volunteer a few hours of your time at the annual Vintage VW Meet in July. If you do that, you'll get a great collectible Vintage Meet T-shirt, and other great features but best of all, the recognition and camaraderie of fellow VW fanatics! What could be better in life?
There are no fees (dues) to join!
