Join us from 10am-1pm rain-or-shine as we host some of Seattle's best Overland & off-road vehicles. Our friends at PeaceVans and Evergreen Offroad will also be on-site with some modified rigs to answer all of your off-roading and "van-lifing" questions.

          All makes & models welcome, so come on out! Free coffee & cold brew will be available for all guests               courtesy of Voi Cà Phê.


Volksfest 2024 Cruise

Description

This is the 3rd year where we will be doing the 20 mile cruise to Mt. Angel to enjoy there Volksfest , a celebration of beer and sausage. if you are with NW Dubs the entry fee will be $20 which includes 15 tokens for beverages ( last year it was 7 tokens for a beer or wine).

We will meet at the Baldock rest area southbound bound just out of Wilsonville at 9:30 and leave by 10:30 to arrive at Mt. Angel around 11:00/11:15. from there Juli Madil or I will bring us in to the back where we have our own parking and entrance. I will update this post as much as possible.

 Wetwesties campout at the Quarry Pond

Description

This is the annual Wetwesties campout at the Quarry Pond camp site at Deception Pass State Park on Whidbey Island. The State Park is about an hour South of the Peace Arch border crossing, so really easy if you are coming from that direction. And about an hour forty minutes North of Seattle if you are coming from that direction. Anyone with an interest in VW camper vans is welcome (you don’t have to own one to come).


Reservable sites are 302 - 331 and often fill up. First come first serve sites are 332 - 360 and they often fill up when the weather is good. The official State Park policy is not to allow doubling up so it is good to reserve. Remember to select a site in the QUARRY POND loop on the East side of Highway 20. Jet noise from the navy base can occur but has not been an issue in the last few years.


The Pot Luck is Saturday. The food line starts at 5 PM (sunset is 5:30) so you will want to set up before then. Bring a dish of your choosing and chairs. There is a shelter. You may want to bring a folding table. Campfires are OK. Power is available. Stroll through time as you appreciate everything Volkswagen from early air-cooled to modern day water-cooled as well as other European examples. Rummage through aisles of new old stock and dirty greasy parts in our HUGE SWAPMEET area. Don't forget the vendors and fair food on site as you walk thru the car show.

We will do our best to check you in fast and let you park inside the back of the building. You can temporally park inside gate and DOLLY your gear into the building. Those with (3) or more spots will be able to DRIVE in to drop off. Swappers with (3) or more spots will have their spot pre-assigned for time.

INSIDE THE BUILDING - Your "STUFF' needs to be on a tarp or on a table - making a mess will be a problem for future events. We will have some 10x10 tarps for sale.

OUTDOOR SWAP MEET WILL BE MOVING TO THE GRAVEL AREA NEAR THE FENCE LINE FACING SILLY VILLE. This will allow you to pull straight in. Your spot will be the length of your truck and trailer.
